I really envy you your creativity. This is very similar to what I used to do, though I used to create imaginary cities on single sheets, and didn't usually extend them beyond two or three sheets because I had an end visualized for them. These days, who knows what I'd do with it.

The way you use game-like rules to expand and evolve the map is amazing to me. They remind me of the rules to collectible card games. Your custom deck is gorgeous and entrancing to look at. It seems to make the artist co-equal creators; thorough you, the map edits itself while you edit the map and evolve the rules.

More than any other artist I've learned about, you are part of the work.

I admire you and am in awe of your production.Samuel John Kleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00514541030057763303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5153489848796289746.post-87344941383272145722012-10-18T08:21:22.814-07:002012-10-18T08:21:22.814-07:00I went to wordpress and looked at your map and com...I went to wordpress and looked at your map and comments. I make maps, too, but haven't made a lot, since I'm fairly young. I just recently finished a map. My maps are a bit different, since none of it is chosen by chance and I depict people on the map. But, it's not far off. I thought I was the only one in the world. Here's a picture of it, if you're interested: http://iholdtheline.wordpress.com/2012/10/09/the-ashur-depiction/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5153489848796289746.post-16943562765199780212012-10-08T03:02:44.329-07:002012-10-08T03:02:44.329-07:00Thanks, Antoine!
