Another New Void Incursion!
A new Void has appeared in the city of Fields West this morning (map year 1086).
This largely unprotected city of over 700,000 souls saw the relocation of an estimated 15,700 individuals to the alternative dimensions inside the Void. This portion of historic old town will be greatly missed by the remaining residents.

I like a lot this Void concept in your map. Sometimes you have to let go of something dear to create something fresh.
ReplyDeleteYou even inspired me to create my own map. Only two pages wide still; but we know how large a world can spawn from a single doodle.
Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks for your comment, Solari! Keep going on your map project. Maybe you'd like to contribute a guest panel to mine?
DeleteHelo Jerry I'd love to contribute a guest panel to your blog. Mind you, I am no artist (not by a longshot) and the quality is nowhere close to your beautiful vistas. Just a ordinary guy who wanted to do something with his hands for a change. I still plan to throw some colour on the map. When I have something more ready I'll be sure to send you.
DeleteOn another note, there is a similar project that reminded me a lot of your map. Check it out when you have the time:

Thanks for the note, Solari! I will be happy to have you contribute to my project. Keep me posted! (And thanks for the link; I will take a look now.)
DeleteI'm not much of an artist, but your work has inspired me too. I'm working on the first panal of my map. So far, I'vecreated a small city called Transitia (which is similar to the latin word "Transitus" meaning crossing) This city is unique because it is where two major roads and a river all cross
Deletemake sure to tell / show me the first images you export/save from my software :-)
ReplyDeleteWill do! Thanks again for all your help, Daniel!
DeleteSounds like Fields West has got quite a problem on their hands. I can't wait to see what happends next: Who will survive and who will not?
